Borbor Sherman was special. He lived and worked among special people, especially during his days at St. Patrick's High School. Mr. Sherman was our junior class president in 1971 and I was his vice president. I believe, we handled the stewardship of this dynamic group with competence and great dedication. History might not judge (among the Intellligentsias) the year 1971 as exciting as 1970 when we were sophomores participating in a bit of pedantry here and there after a very gueling 1969 of Bro. John's History and English Classes. Those were good old days we thought we knew it all! Maybe, 1971 was not as exciting as 1972 when the class was looking forward to entering the universities in the world of academia or those of life.
To me, the year 1971 was a period of soul searching and time of great and sober reflection of the year ahead and the challenges to come after that. Borbor Sherman was "the man". He was our noble president of that year. May his soul rest in peace and the light perpetual, which only God can give, shine on him.

Borbor Sherman,
You were who you were! May the God of Eternal Rest give you rest until we all meet at Jesus' feet.

I am sorry to hear about Borbor Sherman.
We were in the choir together.
May the family find some comfort in God's word.
